In our lives we all do our best to decide what or who is good for us. Whether it is a a career choice, food, entertainment, friendships, intimate relationships, family, fitness or personal property. We all try our best to place things and people in our lives that we feel are good matches or that we can benefit from in some way.
Things are easy and simple to choose, but when it comes to people it becomes more complicated and complex. So many people wear masks that hides who they truly are and what sort of intentions they may have regarding you. They wear their masks whenever they see you to disguise intent which leads to a false pretense and you unknowingly being duked.

But, you are no victim because vetting should be one of the first things you do when getting to know someone. You ask appropriate questions about their past, present and future. You ask questions that may make some people feel awkward because they may be lying. But it's part of your job selecting the right people to place in your life. It's best to weed through liars, cheaters, leeches and koo-koo crazies before you get too involved.
Take control and know that it is a privilege for you to allow someone to be part of your life and with that privilege comes responsibility, commitment, loyalty and trust. Making certain the people around are who they claim to be is of the utmost importance. Masks should not be allowed unless it's Halloween.
