Hey guys! We are jumping right into Part 2 of 'You are Your Brand'. Does having a personal page matter? Look, you can have both a business and personal page however business pages tends to be more generic and generate less traffic than personal pages for obvious reasons..... business pages are flat out boring.
People don't follow you to be bored. They want personality, excitement, entertainment etc. Which is why your personal page still must represent your brand regardless if you want it to or not. It is a fact that your personal page will have more followers, friends, likes and comments. So putting your best foot forward is paramount. The flow of your overall page should be inviting, fresh and appealing.

Don't flood your page with drama or negativity. It is an eye sore and usually your page won't grow numbers wise meaning your brand awareness will not grow. Show behind the scenes, tag-a-longs, polls, fun night outs and more! Remember people want to see you! People want to have a peek inside your life outside of you job or company. So, share with them the most appeasing and appealing moments. High quality photos are imperative. Timing of your posts are important. How many times a day you post are crucial.
You are the only person that can represent you! So, make certain to put your best foot forward at all times and watch your followers grow, your ranking online will rise and your ranking with the algorithms will substantially improve. You are your brand, so why not benefit from what you place on your social media. Anyone with a social media profile is marketing him or herself in today's world. Soon a thing called resumes will be totally obsolete, hint: Linkedin.
