1099 contractors are on the rise in business and employment.
But lets be realistic, it is not for everyone. Some people need a steady schedule and supervision.

Doing BPO'S and Digital Marketing I have deadlines.....meaning that as long as my work is completed/edited/proofread and uploaded by a certain date then it doesn't matter how I plan my work days or times. And the company my husband and I work as IT techs for in Canton Ga(most of the time we have to go into the office but there are certain airings that we can work from our own computers by downloading certain programs) is also 1099 however we have a schedule for what days and televised events that we must work or attend additional training.

That being said, the freedom that I have is very rewarding, the fact that no one can dictate what jobs I must accept or mandate a schedule for me makes things that much easier planning around my kids, family and friends.
Making a schedule of your daily activities is a must. Because if someone needs makeup or a Spa Party for Girls then that most definitely must be on my schedule in advance.
Good money can be made but you will still have people that don't consider you as having a "Real Job". I generally don't acknowledge people that make these kind of unintelligent remarks because they aren't educated on the topic and honestly I am not gonna get paid for taking my time to explain it to them. I smile and still go and cash my checks. I love it when people think I have to lie to them about what I do(like they are THAT important.)

Check into being a 1099 contract employee(businesses are posting positions online) and negotiate an offer that suits and works best for you and your situation. Health care and insurance are your responsibility. And you must prepare your taxes under the correct forms and always have your documentation and write-offs.
