Selfish-ness

There is nothing wrong with looking out for yourself! Making sure that you and your family will be financially taken care of is one of the most important means of becoming successful and how the rich become rich!

The difference is that wealthy people develop a self centered persona. They begin the day catering to their family's needs, personal needs and their entrepreneurs needs (in that order). They send emails out requesting info/data and what they expect before they answer or reply to emails from others. They make calls delivering information and with expectations before they listen to and respond to voice mails from others.

Wealthy people invest. Remember that! PSA: it does not take thousands of bucks to invest. Take what you have and even if it's just $50. Begin with mutual funds and the work up your portfolio slowly and steadily adding stock and then real estate.

Put yourself first and go after your dreams. Stop stressing over a business that will never be yours and that will never make you rich. There if enough money out here for everyone to live the American Dream and actually become financially independent. Your dreams and goals are just as important as the person's that you work for.

Not everyone has a dream and I completely understand that, however don't allow your cousin (who is fine with making 40k annually punching a clock for someone else yet always complaining about bills and money) to undermine your goals, hopes and dreams from opening that café, boutique, salon, pressure washing company, bakery, pet grooming biz, cupcake shop, elder home care or etc.

• If it is something that you absolutely love and enjoy doing, I strongly encourage you to step out on faith and do it(doing what you love never feels like work). Research it, study it, find ways to improve it, put your own vibe to it. Make your dreams come true and don't depend on anyone else to help motivate you. Become self motivated and grow thick skin. Get selfish!
