Would you like to save some cash? How about saving a buck while looking cute? Well, here are a few tips that will allow you to save around $672 a year. Here is how we came up with these numbers:
On average you spend between $25 to $35 for pedicures every two weeks. Now multiply this number by (2)twice monthly and then by 12 months for the year. Presto! a whopping $672.
Look you do not have to be a brain surgeon to know that an at home mani /pedi can be just as relaxing and rejuvenating as one at the salon. Start by getting everything you need for a great spa like experience.
Items Needed:
1. 2 Towels/ Saran Wrap
2. Washcloth
3. Nail buffer, Clippers and Nail File
4. Foot tub. foot scrub, nail polish
5. Lavender or an oil of your choice
6. Cuticle Lotion, clear coat
7. Pumice Stone
8. Coconut Oil
9. Aromatherapy Candles
10. Vibe Music of your choice
11. Great Books to Read
Set up in a calm location in your home, make this area interruption free during your spa time. First wet feet and apply foot scrub. Next, use your pumice stone and massage feet from your toes to your heels and remember to get the outer perimeter areas as well(this helps with removing dead skin cells, blood & oxygen circulation). Soak your feet in your choice of oils and warm water for 10-15min., do not dry but liberally apply coconut oil to the heels of your feet, ankles, balm of your feet and lower parts of your legs. Next rub cuticle lotion on your toes then you want to wrap your feet with saran wrap and in the towels for an additional 7-10min.(it is a plus if the towels are warm).
Enjoy the process and read a great book or listen to some nice music and sip on your favorite drink while you are relaxing and vibing while your feet are being pampered and rejuvenated.
The rest is easy cut, file and shape your toe nails into your desired shape then buff. Apply a clear coat and when dry apply (2) two coats of polish. Allow to dry and mission accomplished and money saved! You my dear have beat summer feet and your feet and pockets will thank you. I mean let's face it, you can put that tmoney towards a cruise! Have fun and enjoy some me time and don't forget to Beat Summer Feet!
